Season 1, Episode 6: Noreen Whysel
Noreen Whysel is a long time member of the information architecture community. If you've been around a while, you probably know her as the Operations Manager of the IA Institute from 2005 to 2014. She was a member of the IAI since 2002, before their earlier rebranding from the Asilomar Institute of Information Architecture.
Since receiving her MSLIS at Pratt in 2014, Noreen has been applying her IA and UX research magic to the world of trusted identity at the Identity Ecosystem Framework Registry at Kantara Initiative, her financial literacy startup Decision Fish, and a new startup venture in the news literacy space, which she will announce soon, once all NDA contracts are read and negotiated.
What many people don't know is that she leads a double life as a Geospatial Information Systems leader in New York City.
