Dan Cooney has been bringing understanding & clarity to information systems professionally since 2000. Working out of TUG’s Ann Arbor office, Dan finds great satisfaction in identifying a client’s driving business and customer needs, which in turn shape the structural design and enable a satisfying customer experience.

Dan has enjoyed working with people in a wide range of organizations and industries. Before joining TUG in 2011, he was Director of User Experience for an e-commerce firm.

Dan has been active in the southeast Michigan information architecture and user experience communities since 1998, including serving as an officer and founding member of MOCHI, Ann Arbor ambassador for UXnet, and president of the University of Michigan School of Information Alumni Board. Dan also teaches a methods class on evaluating systems and services at the School of Information.
