Yesterday at TUG | Ann Arbor we offered the first of what we expect will be a series of half-day information architecture workshops.
Sixteen learners with backgrounds ranging from branding to software development to document management systems joined me for a three-hour session where I combine some of the best lecture material from the semester-long course I teach to graduate students at the U-M School of Information with three quick hands-on exercises meant to allow students to apply what they’re learning over the course of the morning.
